Triangle Awards $1,000 Grant to Reed Point Community Club

Triangle Communications recently presented a $1,000 check to the Reed Point Community Club to help the community with the installation of a new digital message board.    

The new message board is a joint project between the Reed Point Community Club and the Boost Club and is led by young leaders, Trent and Tyson Ott.  The Ott brothers are both members of the Reed Point High School FCCLA Chapter and will present their experiences as part of their chapter service project.  Additional funds are currently being raised and project members hope the new message board will be finalized by next fall. 

Angela Allestad, Public Relations Specialist for Triangle, commented, “Triangle’s Community Vitality Grant Program offers monetary support to organizations or groups that are positively impacting their communities within the Triangle service area.”  She added, “Triangle is proud to support this project which mirrors our goals to enhance the quality of life, educational opportunity and economic development in our communities.”
