Capital Credits
Being part of a cooperative means more than just paying for a service, it means you are an owner. One of the most valuable ways this ownership shows up is through Capital Credit Allocations.
These allocations represent your share of the cooperative’s earnings, returned to you in recognition of your support and usage. Unlike shareholder dividends in a traditional corporation, capital credits aren’t handed out to outside investors - they stay with the people who make the cooperative possible: you, our members.
In essence, when the cooperative operates efficiently and generates a positive margin, those earnings are allocated back to you. It’s one of the most tangible ways we demonstrate that Triangle Communications is owned by the members, for the members.
