CEO Message - July/Aug
I hope this message finds you well. It has not been a “normal” year for any of us and the future for so many things is unknown during this COVID-19 pandemic. At Triangle Communications, we are keeping things as normal as possible. It is our priority to keep our employees and members safe during this pandemic. To keep up to date with what is going on at Triangle, like us on our Facebook page or check out our website at www.itstriangle.com.
Triangle is bringing fiber this summer to the communities of Stanford, Reed Point, Whitewater and a section of rural Big Timber. Rocky Mountain Contractors began working on the Big Timber upgrade in May. JKL is working on the fiber upgrades in the Whitewater and Reed Point exchange areas. VECI will be working on the fiber upgrade in the Stanford area.
After the cable is placed in the ground and connected to the outside of the homes and businesses in each community, Triangle will contact members to schedule an appointment for connection of the fiber inside each location. We will keep members in the community who are impacted by the upgrades updated on the progression of the projects; however, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
Triangle understands the importance of high-speed internet access. The increased need for Zoom meetings and Google classroom alone has driven the necessity of additional connectivity in our service areas. Triangle is proud to partner with many of the area schools to meet their needs on such short notice. Triangle has seen an increase in the need for connectivity, not only for schools, but also for members working from home. The increase in internet demand showed us that it is great to work off your cell phone’s data package, but nothing beats a physical connection to your home!
There is a lot of planning and hard work that goes into a Fiber to the Home upgrade. On the following page you will find a copy of a new brochure that our team created to help explain the construction process a little bit better.
In closing, I want to congratulate all the 2020 graduates! Your graduation experience is unique and is also something no other group has experienced and hopefully never will again. I am sure the perspective of the past will help you with your future endeavors. Stay safe and stay healthy!
